Atlanta Music Promoter - A Tribute to Tupac - Omega Tha Kid
Well known for his songwriting, DC native Omega Tha Kid is switching into a higher gear as he steps out of his natural environment to conquer that of a musician which he bodies in all of his previous works. Rising to the scene in 2012, Omega rushed straight out the gates as he wrote and engineered alongside and for notable R&B figures Sean Garrett, Kelly Rowland, August Alsina and Chris Brown. The following year Omega would go on to release “Alpha and Omega” accompanied with a few other moderately successful mixtape collaborations with SODMG’s Ja-Bar which lead to his MTV and Worldstar debuts in viral videos, ”Summer Time” and “GHGF.” Later that year Omega would add songwriting credits from Jennifer Lopez, Cali Swag District, and Sammie to his resume. Omega went on to feature as a guitarist on Jacquees’ “Feel It” featuring Lloyd and Rich Homie Quan from his EP “19” which peaked at #15 on Billboard’s R&B album chart. In 2014 Kid expanded his writing catalog with credits from three of today’s prime Pop artists: Nicki Minaj, Maroon 5 and Taylor Swift. During that year Omega was featured on D. Tall’s “Dem Heels” which also featured E-40 and Waka Flocka. With his eyes set on the top of the mountain, Omega has established a firm foundation to transition from songwriter to recording artist to ascend him into the heart of music listeners internationally. With his upcoming solo debut “199x,” Omega pays homage to one of music’s most known lyricists, Tupac. Scheduled for a June 16th release, Omega Tha Kid looks forward to a successful 2015.
