My name is Nikki E. I was born in Hampton, VA. I am a MC, poet, song writer, story writer and choreographer. I am a woman who believes to be better than the average female/male MC. My thoughts on life are expressed through my lyrics. I came from a rough past and was fortunate enough to learn from those experiences. I take my music seriously and this shows my hunger to succeed! I love performing for people. Unlike most performers, I get my high from the energy of the crowd. My debut was opening for Jadakiss in Germany, later becoming a requested favorite on Def Poetry Nights every 1st Friday in Junction City, Kansas. I have performed on HIP/HOP nights at club 4play in Aiea, HI. My talent continues to progress which lead me to opening for Keak da Sneak in Hawaii, Nicki Minaj in Hawaii, and Trina in Hawaii, Andre Nikatina Hawaii. I've opened up for Twisted Insane, Rucka Puff, and Princess (Crime mob) in the Seattle /Tacoma, WA area, where Im currently doing local shows. I had the honor of participating in MC Lyte's "Next Top Female MC" competition. I received great recognition from those female great female legends and others who participated. I was a featured artist at the "Shut da Stage Down 3" hosted by the "rain man" Shawn Kemp, receiving mad love from Kokane (G funk). I recently completed a promotional tour in GA, NC, SC, and AL.I am currently featured on DJ Tati's Street Dreams 7 and Broadcast Houston DVD Magazine " Success" AND "16 BARS" track. "RIP" is my introduction song. It explains who I am and what i am about and how I am bringing back Real HipHop.. My major influences are MOS DEF, CELO, Common, M.C. Lyte, Lil Kim, Trina and T.I! They are wonderful rappers and poets! Much like Lil Wayne, I plan to collaborate with everyone because music is my life. I will continue to create new hip hop music. Its time to teach the game a lesson.. no more silly rap lyrics for the top hip hop songs!! Mary J. Blige has shown our young sisters that no matter what, we can make it through the hardest times and still come up on top. My mark in the industry WILL be iconic!!
