The Akron, Ohio native is expected to decline his $35.6 million player option for the 2018-19 season this summer, which would could clear the way for him to sign with Golden State if Warriors general manager Bob Myers can clear cap space on the league's highest-paid roster with a current payroll of $135 million for the 2017-18 season.
So........ who will have to be traded from the WARRIORS..?
Most likely the deal would involve James being signed and traded for Warriors All-Star guard Klay Thompson, who will be a free agent in the summer of 2019, and Andre Iguodala, another former All-Star who teamed with Thompson and Curry on each of the Warriors' two recent NBA titles.
If this happens -- CLEVELAND will erupt.... LOL
