Off-Rip - "Want To (I.D.W.T.F.I.W.T.)"
Detroit artist Off-Rip first started to gain traction in 2012 when he released his Don Cannon-hosted mixtape Meet Off-Rip. The project was able to garner attention with singles such as "Cocky & Arrogant" featuring Joe Budden and Royce da 5'9", as well as the club ready Asar-produced track "Don't Show Up When I Blow Up."
After receiving an ample amount of positive feedback from the aforementioned solo single, Off-Rip was compelled to dub his sophomore release with the same name. Filled with an impressive line-up of Detroit bred artists, Don't Show Up When I Blow Up will feature R&B sensation Keely Ferguson, as well as hip-hop artists Oba Rowland, Ro Spit, Marv Won, and MAHD. The album is produced by platinum selling music engineer/producer Asar, who also produced half of Off-Rip’s first mixtape and has worked on major label projects including Eminem and Royce da 5'9"'s Bad Meets Evil, of which he earned a gold plaque for "Lighters."
"Want To (I.D.W.T.F.I.W.T.)" is a menacing track that finds Off-Rip standing on his own two, rightfully proclaiming that he will do exactly what he wants to not only with his life, but with his music. The knocking Asar-produced track serves as the lead single from Don't Show Up When I Blow Up, which will be hosted by Big Sean's official DJ, DJ Mo Beatz. The project will be released in the fourth quarter of this year.
