Following a measles case at Drake's Anita Max Win event in Perth, a public health alert has been issued. Thousands of people attended the opening night of the Canadian rapper's new world tour on Tuesday at the RAC Arena, including the affected individual. With concertgoers in close proximity to one another and measles, a highly contagious disease, the West Australian Health Department issued a warning on Friday. The sick individual visited multiple locations throughout the city this week after returning from Bali. Dr. Paul Armstrong, director of the Communicable Disease Control, advised anybody who attended the performance or visited exposure locations to be on the lookout for symptoms. Dr. Armstrong advised anyone experiencing symptoms to contact the Department of Health right away. "Anyone who visited an exposure location during the specified dates and times should keep an eye out for symptoms, wear a mask, and get medical help if they do." "Call ahead before you show up at a general practitioner's office or emergency room so that staff can make sure you don't spread the infection to other patients and staff." He can't catch a break, huh, with the fued still breathing down his career Comments are closed.
