The money that used to swirl around the industry seem not to be that way anymore. How come all these artist are in so much financial trouble? The big spending in the beginning of their careers may just be the blame. Goodie Mob was one of my favorite Atlanta groups. Cee-lo went on to do his thing and some felt like he abandoned the rest of them.
In recent years, Goodie Mob regrouped and done music with the NBA- which I was thinking that maybe they got some good bread from it . ( To think that Goodie Mob would have to split the funds and pay all the people involved.. leaving little to work with.)
With all this said - To the upcoming artist . Think before you spend.. no one knows how long will that music income continue to roll in. If you loose your voice- what will you do next? Have multiple talents... CRUNKATLANTA
TMZ Reported-
According to the docs ... the bank claims Khujo's missed 3 mortgage payments in a row and remains on the hook for more than $200K ... so now they're looking to take it back.
Khujo filed for bankruptcy 2 years ago, claiming he had just $300 in cash ... and was drowning in $170K in debt.
He earns just over a grand a month from royalties and the occasional performances ... in addition to disability checks ... he lost a leg in a 2002 car accident.
