Atlanta Music Promoter Crunkatlanta: Sean Kingston & His Mother Face Decades in Prison for Wire Fraud Atlanta – Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, are facing serious legal trouble after being convicted of multiple wire fraud charges. The Broward County, FL court found them guilty on Friday (March 28) of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud each, according to CBS News. The case unfolded after Kingston was sued for failing to pay for high-end electronics, which exposed the fraudulent scheme. Authorities arrested both him and his mother during a raid at his Florida home in May 2024. The lawsuit, filed by Ver Ver Entertainment LLC, accused Kingston of defrauding the company out of expensive devices. The 35-year-old artist allegedly promised to promote the electronics via social media and a collaboration with Justin Bieber—his former musical partner on the 2010 hit “Eenie Meenie.” Kingston initially paid a $30,000 deposit and agreed to a second payment of $47,000, with the remainder to be covered through promotional content. However, attorney Dennis Card, representing the plaintiffs, stated that Kingston used scripted tactics to deceive individuals out of money. “He’s got basically a script. He says that he works with Justin Bieber and that he obviously puts on a big show here,” Card said. “This is a rental house; he doesn’t own it, and he lures people using his celebrity into having them release things without him paying for it, and then he simply never pays. “He’s 100 percent a scammer. He’s on felony probation right now for trafficking in stolen property. He’s got judgements against him for procuring more than $1 million in watches without paying for them. This is just an ongoing pattern for Sean.” Stay tuned for updates on this case from Atlanta music promoter Crunkatlanta. Doesnt this sound familiar --- "SNOWFALL," Franklin and his mom
