A 26 year old African American alternative hip-hop artist, Jan. 25th 12:26pm at Swedish American of Rockford, IL life was given to ThisGuy. From the moment he could write, ThisGuy has created countless poems, eventually leading to him being presented with an editors choice award in an online poetry contest. While in High School he would often earn income by selling his poems to females and rewording them for their boyfriends. As well as beatboxing. Due to beatboxing as a hobby, ThisGuy found himself, more often than not, surrounded by rappers. Yet, It wasn't until 2010, after being in Knoxville, TN for a few years, that ThisGuy began to turn his poems into ballads of love, cannabinoid euphoria and self reflection. ThisGuy currently resides in Louisville, KY building both his domestic and international audience.
